Countdown to Spring has commenced.

Soon we will talk about some "plant stuff" but this week we are battling the ever increasing snow loads on the greenhouses.  Structure reinforcement, heat, and LOTS of shoveling hopefully will help us avoid structure collapses.  In between all this commotion, spring hard goods inventory is arriving.  It's almost like Christmas, opening everything we ordered last fall; and seeing it in hand is fun.  About 10 days to go until furnaces go on to not "melt snow" as their primary function but to thaw soil and warm a few plants that we overwintered in our house and storeroom.  We will also seed alot of peppers and a few tomatoes around March 1.  The countdown is on!!!
