The warmer weather has people wanting to get flowers planted. However, it is early and caution should be exercised. There are flowers that can handle the cool nights. These include nemesia, pansy and viola, and petunia. We have had these outside for about 10 days, with a cover at night on the petunias if temps are to fall below 30*. Nemesia, pansy and viola can handle temps in the mid 20's. "Early bird" shoppers are welcome but be prepared to keep begonias, impatiens, coleus warm at night. These flower families need 50* + consistently at night. Almost every thing else falls into a group that's ok at 33* and up.
