Just a reminder this week about early spring pruning of fruit trees and grapevines. In an earlier blog I discussed this topic and suggested resources for the "how to". Now is the time to do that pruning, as well as cutting down any perennial grasses that were left tall for winter interest, and pulling mulch off rose bushes. Life at the greenhouse has been very busy the last 2 weeks and the pace will continue to be ferocious through May. Houses are nearly full and color is beginning to show on the plants. Some topics I hope to cover in the coming weeks are: "Geraniums: They're not just for Grandmas!", "Caring for your Hanging Basket", "Flowers for the First Time Gardener", and more about tomatoes and warm weather vegetables, and roses. A beautiful day today, enjoy it!!!
